As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all transactions. Your expertise will drive process improvements, streamline workflows, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibility
- Lead and optimize end-to-end finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax filings, and audit requirements.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast, budget, and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Manage vendor and client relationships, resolving discrepancies and negotiating terms to optimize cash flow.
- Leverage financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to automate processes and enhance data integrity.
- Mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance operations, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance (IFRS/GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
- Experience working in a remote or global team with US holiday alignment is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
