Responsibility
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue balances.
- Conduct regular credit checks and assessments for new and existing clients.
- Prepare and send payment reminders, statements, and follow-up communications to delinquent accounts.
- Liaise with internal departments and external clients to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities, including communications and payment arrangements.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to identify high-risk accounts and recommend actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing credit terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
