Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Invoice-to-Cash team, ensuring efficient credit and collections processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow.
- Oversee the credit evaluation process, including risk assessment and approval of credit limits for clients.
- Monitor and analyze aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts and implementing recovery actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal) to resolve payment disputes and escalations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and reduce bad debt.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collections performance, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in credit management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CICM, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in credit and collections management, preferably in a BPO or multinational environment.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving collections targets.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle client interactions and internal stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment, collection strategies, and financial regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
