Responsibility
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize financial risk.
- Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, reducing delinquencies and bad debt.
- Lead collection efforts, including negotiations and payment arrangements with clients.
- Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to align credit policies with business goals.
- Prepare and present reports on credit and collection performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management, collections, or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a multinational or remote work environment is a plus.
- Certification in credit management (e.g., CCE, CICM) is advantageous.
