Responsibility
- Develop accurate project costings, quotations, and budgets based on scope, materials, labor, and overheads.
- Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, operations) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors) to align on project deliverables and timelines.
- Prepare and present financial reports, cost analyses, and variance explanations to management and clients.
- Track project milestones, anticipate risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure on-time completion.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality.
- Maintain organized documentation of all cost-related data, contracts, and project correspondence.
- Support the tendering process by evaluating bids and recommending optimal vendor selections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimation, project coordination, or financial analysis, preferably in construction, design, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is advantageous.
