Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and provide data-driven recommendations to mitigate cost overruns.
- Prepare and present cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
- Implement cost-control measures and track savings opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting project costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost engineering, estimating, or financial planning within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Primavera, Candy, or similar tools).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia.
- Certification in Cost Engineering (e.g., AACE, RICS) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
