Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end procurement strategy, including tender management, vendor selection, and contract negotiation for major infrastructure projects.
- Provide comprehensive cost control and budget monitoring to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Manage contractual obligations, ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle to protect company interests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track project progress, evaluate change orders, and settle final accounts efficiently.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure service excellence and competitive pricing.
- Prepare accurate financial reporting, cost forecasts, and procurement summaries for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cost management, contract administration, or procurement within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling and reporting).
- In-depth knowledge of local construction regulations, standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, FIDIC, PAM), and procurement strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
