Responsibility
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems for semiconductor manufacturing, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business strategies.
- Optimize inventory management processes, including cycle counting, obsolescence analysis, and slow-moving stock mitigation.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, process improvements, and capital expenditures to support data-driven decision-making.
- Generate and present financial reports and KPIs to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and tax regulations related to cost accounting and inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, accuracy, and process automation in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Proven expertise in inventory management, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interpret complex data for stakeholders.
- Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS standards and internal audit processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and collaborative approach.
