Responsibility
- Manage and process corporate travel bookings using GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport) with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients on travel itineraries, fares, and policies to ensure cost-effective and compliant solutions.
- Resolve complex booking issues, including reissues, refunds, and schedule changes, while maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline travel processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, airline policies, and GDS system updates to deliver informed and proactive service.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions, client interactions, and service metrics for reporting and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, client-specific protocols, and data security standards.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members on GDS operations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Travel GDS Specialist or in a similar role, with proficiency in Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel management, including fare rules, ticketing, and reservation systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with IATA regulations and industry-standard travel policies is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other travel-related software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to support global clients across different time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
