Responsibility
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns (e.g., PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, and annual tax reports) in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with all updates.
- Conduct tax audits and reconcile discrepancies in financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast tax liabilities and cash flow impacts.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities (e.g., DJP) as needed.
- Maintain organized tax documentation and records for internal and external audits.
- Provide tax-related advice to management on business decisions, mergers, or expansions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA, or CA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably in Indonesia.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (e.g., Income Tax Law, VAT, and local regulations).
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tax calculations and reporting.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
