Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations.
- Monitor and analyze tax obligations, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure timely reporting.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulatory changes affecting the business.
- Assist in audits by providing documentation and clarifications to tax authorities or external auditors.
- Develop and implement efficient tax accounting processes and controls.
- Generate financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the Philippines and/or Indonesia.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello) is an advantage.
