Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax) in compliance with Indonesian regulations (DJP, PPN, PPh).
- Maintain and update tax records, ensuring all documentation is organized, accessible, and audit-ready for both internal and external reviews.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to reconcile tax-related transactions, resolve discrepancies, and optimize tax processes.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian tax laws and regulations, providing proactive recommendations to management to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Assist in tax audits by preparing required documents, coordinating with tax authorities, and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support payroll tax calculations, including PPh 21, and ensure timely remittance to avoid penalties or interest charges.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to support business operations while maintaining full compliance with local tax laws.
- Provide tax-related training and guidance to non-finance staff to promote awareness and adherence to tax policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax administration, compliance, or accounting, preferably in retail, luxury goods, or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including VAT (PPN), Income Tax (PPh), and Withholding Tax (PPh 21, 23, 26).
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., DJP Online, Accurate, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving tax-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain tax concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Certification in Brevet A/B or Brevet C is a plus, but not required.
