Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Support senior auditors in conducting internal and external audits, including risk assessments and control evaluations.
- Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, individual, VAT) while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support client decision-making.
- Liaise with clients to gather financial data, clarify discrepancies, and provide advisory support.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes in accounting and tax laws, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- 0–3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or tax (internships count for entry-level roles).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CAT are a plus but not mandatory.
