Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to maintain high standards of performance and accuracy.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
