Responsibility
- Lead and manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation and benefits administration.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance (IFRS/GAAP knowledge preferred).
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work night shifts (aligning with global business hours) and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a bonus.
- Experience working in a multinational or remote team is highly desirable.
