Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and payment terms.
- Collaborate with internal departments to validate and approve purchase orders and expenditures.
- Generate and distribute financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Support audit requests by providing documentation and explanations for AP-related transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
- Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting is a plus.
