Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day secretarial and administrative functions with minimal supervision.
  • Handle all aspects of company filings through the MyCOID and MBRS portals.
  • Prepare, review, and lodge statutory forms and documentation with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
  • Maintain and update company registers, minute books, and statutory records to ensure full compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies regarding annual returns and compliance deadlines.
  • Prepare board resolutions, notices, and minutes for meetings.
  • Assist in the efficient management of office correspondence and corporate governance activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Corporate Secretarial Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and SSM regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on proficiency with MyCOID, MBRS, and other digital SSM platforms is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple filing deadlines independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professional integrity.
  • Relevant certification in Corporate Administration or a background in Law/Business is highly preferred.
