Responsibility
- Provide legal advice and support to senior management and various departments on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure the company’s interests are protected.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.
- Manage and oversee corporate legal matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations with external parties.
- Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies to address complex legal issues.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company’s business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., LLM, BAR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer or Legal Counsel, preferably in a multinational company or law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia and internationally.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents and contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to upholding the company’s values and integrity.
