Responsibility

  • Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and employment law to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including employment agreements, service contracts, and corporate policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, corporate regulations, and international best practices.
  • Advise on employment disputes, terminations, and workplace investigations, minimizing legal risks for the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop and implement company-wide policies and procedures that align with legal requirements.
  • Conduct legal research on emerging corporate and employment law trends to proactively address potential risks.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, or legal proceedings related to corporate and employment matters.
  • Monitor changes in local and international regulations and update internal policies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H. or equivalent) from a recognized university; Master’s degree or additional certifications in corporate/employment law is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer or Employment Law Specialist, preferably in a multinational or fast-growing company.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, labor regulations, and commercial transactions.
  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents and contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
  • Admitted to the Indonesian Bar (PERADI) or equivalent professional legal body.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a hybrid/remote work environment.
