Responsibility
- Develop and implement corporate BIM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all construction projects.
- Lead the BIM execution planning (BEP) for projects, defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM workflows into project lifecycles, from design to construction and facility management.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and optimization of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD) and related digital tools.
- Conduct BIM training and workshops for internal teams and external partners to ensure proficiency and adoption of best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate BIM performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or regional regulations).
- Drive innovation in digital construction by researching and adopting emerging technologies such as AI, VR/AR, and IoT in BIM processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or corporate BIM role within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD, with a strong understanding of 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650, AIA Layering, and COBie.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex BIM concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in training and change management to drive BIM adoption across organizations.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and how BIM can support green building initiatives is a plus.
