Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, meats, and seafood.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the cooking process by measuring ingredients, mixing sauces, and operating basic kitchen equipment.
- Help with plating and garnishing dishes to ensure consistent presentation and quality.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking inventory, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
- Perform basic cleaning duties, such as sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cook Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Fresh graduates with a passion for culinary arts are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
