Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and transfer documents.
  • Liaise with clients, developers, financial institutions, and government agencies to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes.
  • Conduct title searches and due diligence to ensure the accuracy and legality of property transactions.
  • Manage and maintain conveyancing files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of transactions and client satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
  • Stay updated on changes in property laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, property laws, and legal documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in legal studies or conveyancing is a plus.
