Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and transfer documents.
- Liaise with clients, developers, financial institutions, and government agencies to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes.
- Conduct title searches and due diligence to ensure the accuracy and legality of property transactions.
- Manage and maintain conveyancing files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of transactions and client satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
- Stay updated on changes in property laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions.
- Assist in resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, property laws, and legal documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Relevant certification or diploma in legal studies or conveyancing is a plus.
