Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in control systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software malfunctions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement system modifications and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical training and support to junior technicians and operational staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in control and instrumentation engineering.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in control systems, PLC programming, or industrial instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of control system hardware (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider) and software (e.g., SCADA, HMI).
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
