Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system failures to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular calibration, testing, and validation of control instruments and sensors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation technologies into existing processes.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for control and instrumentation systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC).
- Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in control systems, instrumentation, or automation (preferably in manufacturing).
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and SCADA/DCS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with calibration tools, HMI interfaces, and troubleshooting control loops.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IEC 61131, ISA, etc.) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shift-based or on-call environments as needed.
