Responsibility
- Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements for M&E projects.
- Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution to protect the company’s interests.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams, legal advisors, and senior management to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project profitability and cash flow.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., MRICS, LLB) is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts management, with a focus on M&E or construction projects.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard construction contracts and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, contract management software, and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
