Responsibility
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed, ensuring prompt and professional medical attention.
- Assess and manage minor illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions in a school setting, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate health records, including incident reports, medication logs, and student health profiles.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with school policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special needs.
- Conduct health screenings, including vision, hearing, and growth assessments, and refer students to specialists when necessary.
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives, such as hygiene workshops, nutrition programs, and disease prevention campaigns.
- Ensure the schoolâs health clinic is well-stocked, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration in Indonesia (or eligibility for registration).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric, school, or community health nursing.
- Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
