Are you an experienced Contract Manager or Quantity Surveyor looking for a high-impact role in the heart of Kuala Lumpur? You will be at the forefront of major EPC projects, taking ownership of commercial strategy, contractual compliance, and risk mitigation.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the project lifecycle, from initial contract review to final account settlement. Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end contract administration lifecycle for large-scale EPC projects.
- Prepare and process progress claims, variations, and final accounts accurately and within deadlines.
- Analyze and draft Extension of Time (EOT) applications and associated mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert commercial advice to project teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor and manage sub-contractor agreements and dispute resolution processes.
- Conduct regular cost audits and risk assessments to safeguard project margins.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and contractual project requirements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in EPC or heavy construction sectors.
- Proven ability to manage high-value contracts and complex commercial disputes.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, JCT, PAM).
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on win-win solutions.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based/project-focused environment.
