Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international logistics regulations, including customs and safety standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize warehouse performance and reduce costs.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse management, including inventory control and space utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on employee development.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
