Responsibility
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on design specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Review and interpret design sketches, specifications, and calculations to create detailed drafts.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce 2D and 3D models, ensuring precision and clarity.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and changes in project scope.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation for easy reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations in all drafts.
- Assist in the preparation of project timelines and deliverables related to drafting tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in engineering or architectural projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, symbols, and conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations is a plus.
