Responsibility
- Edit and proofread a variety of content types (e.g., articles, blogs, social media posts, marketing collateral) to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and strategists to develop cohesive content that meets client objectives and audience needs.
- Adapt and localize content for different regions, cultures, and platforms while maintaining a consistent tone and voice.
- Optimize content for SEO, readability, and engagement, incorporating best practices for digital performance.
- Manage content calendars and workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Conduct research to support content development, staying updated on industry trends and audience preferences.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers and contributors to improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Uphold style guides and brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all client deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Content Editor, Copy Editor, or similar role, preferably in a digital or agency environment.
- Exceptional command of the English language, with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing edited work across various formats (e.g., web, print, social media).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization tools (e.g., Yoast, SEMrush, or Google Analytics).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free, polished content.
