Industries (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Consumer Healthcare Merchandiser to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the bridge between our high-quality health products and our retail partners, ensuring that our brand visibility is maximized across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, analyzing store-level performance, and implementing creative merchandising strategies that drive sales. You will work closely with internal sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and optimal shelf placement. Responsibility
- Ensure all Y.S.P. healthcare products are properly stocked, front-faced, and displayed according to company planograms.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels at retail outlets to prevent out-of-stocks and minimize product expiration.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with store managers and frontline retail staff.
- Execute effective point-of-sale (POS) marketing and promotional material deployment to increase brand awareness.
- Collect and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and shelf-share analysis.
- Conduct regular store audits and provide feedback to the sales management team to optimize territory performance.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare product display regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising, FMCG, or pharmaceutical sales is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence retail partners.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to own transportation for site visits.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficient in basic data reporting and use of mobile applications for store reporting.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory in Kuala Lumpur.
