Responsibility
- Conduct precise land surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys, using advanced surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, drones).
- Prepare and interpret survey data, maps, and reports to support project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure alignment with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and verify construction progress against approved plans, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference markers for accurate site measurements.
- Assess potential risks, such as terrain challenges or environmental factors, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Document and archive survey records, as-built drawings, and other project-related data for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. Certification in surveying (e.g., Surveyor Indonesia) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, or GIS applications).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and land-use laws.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor, sometimes challenging, environments across Bali.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
