Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and conduct refresher courses for existing staff.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety protocols are integrated into daily operations.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety gear requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in construction safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with employees.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to address safety concerns.
- Proficient in using safety management software and tools for reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites across Bali as needed.
