Join Archipelago Builders as a Construction Safety Officer in the vibrant and fast-growing construction sector of Bali. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment across our construction sites in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung.
As a Safety Officer, you will implement and monitor safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and train personnel to prevent accidents and injuries. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence in safety standards while supporting project timelines and efficiency.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Organize and lead safety training programs, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for all on-site personnel.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Monitor and document safety performance metrics, providing insights to management for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Stay updated on industry safety trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or local equivalents) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards (ISO 45001), and local labor laws.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, writing safety reports, and using safety management software.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and make critical decisions swiftly.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali as needed.
