As a Safety Officer, you will lead inspections, enforce safety protocols, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of workplace safety. Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting our workforce, minimizing operational risks, and maintaining compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, review, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in alignment with OSHA and local regulations.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure awareness of best practices and compliance requirements.
- Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing root-cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear across all work sites.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated on industry safety trends and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30) is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction, infrastructure, or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations (e.g., Philippine OSH, Indonesian K3, ISO 45001).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to train, mentor, and influence teams at all levels.
- Proficient in hazard identification, risk assessment tools, and incident investigation techniques.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and heavy machinery safety protocols.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
