Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs and policies tailored to construction sites in Bali.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international safety regulations, including OSHA and Indonesian labor laws.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a safety-first culture.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging safety trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and influence teams at all levels.
- Proficient in conducting safety audits, writing reports, and maintaining documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
