In this pivotal role, you will lead all aspects of quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and procurement for premium residential developments. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end quantity surveying for luxury residential projects, including BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and valuation.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial viability.
- Manage contract administration, including tendering, negotiation, and dispute resolution with vendors and subcontractors.
- Oversee procurement processes, from supplier selection to material sourcing, to optimize quality and cost.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for cost overruns or delays.
- Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and Procurement Officers, fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align technical and financial objectives.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership role.
- Proven track record in residential or high-end construction projects (luxury homes preferred).
- Expertise in cost estimation, BOQ, contract law, and procurement (FIDIC, JCT, or local standards).
- Strong proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or Primavera) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and multicultural teams.
