As a QAQC Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all construction activities adhere to international quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO), and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans, including test procedures, checklists, and documentation protocols.
- Perform on-site testing (e.g., concrete slump tests, soil compaction, rebar placement) and coordinate with third-party laboratories for specialized assessments.
- Identify and document non-conformances, deviations, or defects, and recommend corrective actions to project managers and contractors.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports, including photographic evidence, test results, and compliance status for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new construction technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CQI, IRCA, or ISO 9001) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection for civil construction projects, preferably in infrastructure, highways, or large-scale developments.
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards (e.g., SNI, ASTM, ACI) and familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, or other relevant software.
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents with precision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise effectively with multicultural teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site in Badung, Bali, with flexibility for occasional travel to other project locations.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or similar HSE qualifications is highly desirable.
