Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols to minimize risks and accidents.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees, contractors, and visitors to promote awareness and best practices.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct emergency drills and simulations to prepare the team for potential crises.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in safety management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety supervision role within the construction industry.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, codes, and compliance requirements in Indonesia.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
