Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for construction materials, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements, preventing shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective alternatives and emerging materials that meet project specifications.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping, storage, and distribution of materials to project sites.
- Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or discrepancies proactively to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, expenditures, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and reducing procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian market suppliers and local regulations is a plus.
