Responsibility
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs, materials, and labor rates to ensure up-to-date and accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to stakeholders for review and approval.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in project estimates and provide recommendations for cost savings.
- Monitor project progress and update estimates as needed to reflect changes in scope or materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all estimates.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing and submitting competitive and accurate proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Bali.
