Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of precast construction materials and building supplies.
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, and selection processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks.
- Monitor market trends, material availability, and pricing fluctuations to make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance in all transactions.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, and issue resolution to maintain high service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
- Proven expertise in precast construction materials, including concrete, steel, and other structural components.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills with a focus on cost optimization.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and industry regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
