Responsibility
- Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety protocols, and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in construction management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction safety is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
