As a Concrete Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the structural integrity and durability of our projects. Responsibility
- Coordinate with ready-mix concrete suppliers to ensure timely delivery, optimal slump tolerances, and adherence to project specifications.
- Oversee concrete pours on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of concrete mixes, testing for strength, durability, and consistency to meet engineering standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and site engineers to resolve technical challenges and optimize construction processes.
- Monitor site accessibility and logistics to ensure smooth operations during concrete delivery and placement.
- Prepare detailed reports on concrete quality, test results, and project progress for stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
- Implement sustainable construction practices, including the use of eco-friendly materials and waste reduction strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on best practices for concrete handling, curing, and finishing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in concrete engineering, construction, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mix designs, testing methods, and quality control standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI).
- Experience working with ready-mix concrete suppliers and managing on-site logistics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, or project management tools) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in concrete technology or quality control (e.g., ACI certification) is highly desirable.
