Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on computer hardware and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and update software and operating systems to ensure compatibility and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of IT assets.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades and security patches.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on hardware and software usage.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in computer maintenance, hardware repair, and IT support.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking principles.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Effective communication skills to interact with non-technical users and provide clear instructions.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and inventory tracking systems.
- Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
