Responsibility
- Create, edit, and maintain accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings based on engineering specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches to translate them into precise digital models.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot design issues and implement necessary revisions.
- Ensure all design documentation complies with company standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Manage electronic files, maintaining an organized and updated document control system.
- Perform site surveys or measurements as required to ensure design accuracy.
- Participate in design review meetings to provide technical insights and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical Vocational Diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar drafting role.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp).
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to identify discrepancies in technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical or structural accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-based, project-driven environment.
- Ability to meet strict project deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
