Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and transactional data to detect compliance risks, anomalies, and potential breaches of regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain compliance monitoring dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven compliance frameworks and controls.
- Perform regular audits of internal processes and systems to ensure adherence to local (OJK, BI) and international (AML, KYC, FATCA) regulations.
- Automate compliance workflows using Python, SQL, or other data tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare detailed documentation and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on evolving compliance laws and industry best practices, recommending proactive adjustments to policies.
- Support investigations into compliance incidents by providing data-backed evidence and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CAMS, FRM, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or data analysis within the banking/financial services sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R for data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations (e.g., Basel III, AML, KYC) and experience working with compliance tools (e.g., Actimize, SAS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling compliance reports.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is advantageous.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
