Responsibility

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Conduct HR cost analysis to optimize compensation structures and benefits programs while controlling labor expenses.
  • Ensure payroll tax compliance by staying updated on Indonesian tax laws, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports to relevant authorities (e.g., DJP, BPJS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align C&B strategies with business objectives and employee retention goals.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards to track compensation trends, budget variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead audits and reconciliations of payroll data, benefits disbursements, and tax filings to mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff on C&B processes, tax implications, and best practices in HR finance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CHRP) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, payroll management, or HR tax compliance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations (PPh 21, PPh 23), and BPJS systems.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and regulatory data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and government agencies.
  • Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
