As an Accounts Associate, you will oversee critical financial operations including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL) management, and reconciliations. Your expertise will ensure seamless financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective liaison with internal and external auditors. Responsibility
- Manage and process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL), including month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and support financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and provide required documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on exposure to AR, AP, and GL.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
