Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide personalized medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review and optimize patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or expirations.
- Conduct health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, glucose levels) and provide preventive care advice to promote community wellness.
- Educate patients and community members on topics such as chronic disease management, vaccination, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in public health campaigns, outreach programs, and emergency response initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on pharmaceutical advancements.
